This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit this site, GitHub collects your IP address and standard server log data (browser type, device info, pages viewed, referring site, date and time of visit) for security purposes. This happens regardless of whether you have a GitHub account.

Data transfer to the USA

GitHub Inc. is a US-based company (owned by Microsoft Corp.). By visiting this site, your IP address and server log data are transferred to the United States. The legal basis for this transfer is the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Microsoft/GitHub is certified. The European Commission adopted an adequacy decision for the DPF on 10 July 2023. The same applies to YouTube/Google, which is also certified under the DPF.
